Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) – Project Manager (Partnership Track)

Carlsbad, CA | $130,000–$160,000 DOE | Full-Time

We’re searching for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team as a Project Manager, with the potential to grow into a long-term partner in the firm. This role is ideal for a motivated survey professional looking for leadership, autonomy, and a clear path to future ownership within a respected Carlsbad-based organization.

What You’ll Do:

Lead boundary, topographic, ALTA, subdivision maps, and Records of Survey

Oversee office and field survey crews and manage project schedules

Serve as the primary client contact for project coordination

Review, prepare, and QA/QC all survey deliverables

Collaborate with civil engineering and planning teams

Assist with proposals, scope development, and project estimates


Helpful Tools:

Experience with any of these is a plus:
AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation V8i, Trimble Business Center, Leica GPS/Data Collectors, Microsoft Office
