A professional organization in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Professional Events Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, promotion, and onsite execution of events and programs. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, coordination, setup, onsite execution, troubleshooting, and breakdown for events and programs.
- Serve as an onsite point of contact for event questions, attendee support, vendor needs, and operational details.
- Manage event registrations, attendee information, attendance records, registration reports, and post-event tracking.
- Support event promotions by assisting with e-blasts, event communications, and webpage updates.
- Coordinate logistics including venue details, signage, vendor communication, event materials, supplies, and onsite operations.
- Maintain event-related documentation, including purchase orders, trade usage agreements, invoices, and administrative records.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $45,000 to $48,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: Jacksonville, FL.
- Schedule: Ability to work occasional early mornings and evenings based on event schedules.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Coordinate event logistics, registration, attendee support, and onsite event operations.
- Support event communications, promotional e-blasts, webpage updates, and post-event reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Provide administrative and operational support for events, programs, and organizational initiatives.
- 1-2 years of related experience in events, marketing, hospitality, administrative support, customer service, or a similar professional environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, follow-through, and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional, adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to transport, organize, and set up event materials and supplies as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of related experience preferred.
- Experience supporting professional events, community programs, member-based organizations, nonprofit programs, or promotional marketing initiatives.
- Experience coordinating with venues, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, or community partners.
- Familiarity with event registration processes, attendee tracking, and event communication support.
