Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Worker for a contract/temporary opportunity in Jackson, MI. This Production Packer role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, staying active throughout the shift, and contributing to a fast-paced production environment.
In this role, you will help pack, label, inspect, and load vinyl siding products while supporting line setup, organization, and safety standards. This is a strong opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, packing, or equipment operations experience who is looking for steady overnight work with a clear schedule and team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Pack, label, inspect, and load vinyl siding products according to production and quality standards.
- Assemble boxes, cut and secure straps, and maintain packing supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist with production line setup, product movement, and general production support tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area through regular housekeeping duties.
- Follow all PPE requirements, safety procedures, and workplace guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
- Stand for extended periods and lift materials weighing up to 60 lbs as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18 to $19 per hour.
- Posted production packer rate: $19 per hour.
- Schedule: 6 PM to 6 AM.
- Shift structure: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Pack, label, inspect, and load finished vinyl siding products.
- Assemble boxes, cut and secure straps, and keep production supplies available.
- Support production line setup, housekeeping, and safe workflow.
- Follow PPE, safety, and quality requirements throughout the shift.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, packing, warehouse, or equipment operations experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
- Comfortable working in a hot, noisy, and dusty manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards.
- Dependable attendance and willingness to work a rotating 2-2-3 overnight schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience packing, inspecting, or handling building materials or similar manufactured products.
- Experience working on a production line in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements, housekeeping practices, and basic quality inspection procedures.
