2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM): $20.00/hour
3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM): $20.50/hour
Job Summary
We are hiring Production / Warehouse Operators to support plant and warehouse operations in a seed processing facility. This role involves seed treatment, counting, bagging, packaging, inventory tracking, and equipment operation, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Shifts Available
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
Participate in daily seed counting, treating, and bagging operations
Operate manual and automated seed sampling, counting, and bagging equipment
Monitor and maintain accuracy of seed counts, bag weights, and treatment application
Inspect packaging quality (labels, barcodes, printing, wrapping)
Enter production and monitoring data as required
Perform general repairs on baggers, placers, treaters, and palletizers
Assist with cleanup and changeovers between seed varieties
Support inventory counts of seed, chemicals, and bags
Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and plant SOPs
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, agriculture, seed processing, mechanical, or related fields
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Confined Space Entry (CSE)
Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment repair skills
Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills
Ability to lift and handle 50 lb bags
