Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Production Technician/Metal Print to support a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment in Buffalo, NY. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to learn specialized metal printing, fabrication, packaging, and production processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare printers for daily production, including cleaning, setup, maintenance, and running scheduled print jobs.
- Assist with CNC equipment using pre-programmed files and support general fabrication tasks.
- Cut and assemble MDF back frames for finished metal prints.
- Build custom crates and protective packaging for oversized artwork using honeycomb cardboard, foam, and related materials.
- Measure materials accurately with a tape measure to ensure proper fit, spacing, packaging, and finished quality.
- Stage materials, prepare freight shipments, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 per hour.
- Location: Buffalo, NY 14214.
- Position Type: Temporary, approximately 120 to 180 days, with potential for full-time employment.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support metal print production from printer setup through finishing, packaging, and shipment preparation.
- Assist with fabrication, framing, crate building, material staging, and quality checks.
- Operate or assist with production equipment, including printers and CNC equipment using pre-programmed files.
- Maintain workflow efficiency, workplace organization, and safe production practices.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, woodworking, construction, or another hands-on environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
- Comfortable using basic computer software and production systems.
- Able to lift aluminum sheets, paper rolls, framing materials, and finished products throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and able to communicate production, quality, or equipment concerns.
- Comfortable working in a production environment where tasteful boudoir photography artwork is regularly produced.
Preferred Qualifications
- CNC experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with basic hand tools, packaging, crate building, framing, or light fabrication is helpful.
- Prior experience preparing products for freight shipment or secure packaging is preferred.
