We are looking for a Production Team Lead to support daily operations on our pastry and bakery production lines. This role works closely with the Assistant Production Manager to help oversee production staff, maintain product quality, and keep operations running efficiently.
The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), organized, and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to guide teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working hands-on with production teams and is interested in growing into higher-level leadership roles over time.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily bakery and pastry production line operations
Lead and coordinate assembly line and production workers
Ensure quality standards, safety practices, and production goals are met
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
Monitor production materials and track supply needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area
Enter and track production data using Microsoft Word and Excel
Communicate clearly with employees and leadership in Spanish and English
Help resolve minor production issues and support the team with daily operational tasks
Promote a professional, respectful workplace environment
Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Experience in production, manufacturing, or food processing
Previous team lead or informal leadership experience preferred
Experience in bakery, pastry, or food manufacturing environments is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments
Basic experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
