Job Summary

A growing food production operation in Hanford, CA is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor 2nd Shift for a direct hire opportunity. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a production leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment and enjoys driving performance through people, process, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

The Production Supervisor 2nd Shift will lead daily manufacturing line operations, support production planning, coach production employees, and monitor key performance metrics using systems such as NetSuite and Redzone. Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and oversee daily 2nd shift production schedules, workflows, labor assignments, and line performance.
- Monitor production output, product quality, equipment readiness, material availability, downtime, waste, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise, coach, train, and develop production employees and team leads while supporting onboarding and performance management.
- Track KPIs, production metrics, documentation, and reporting through NetSuite, Redzone, and related production systems.
- Partner with quality, maintenance, planning, and operations teams to resolve issues impacting safety, quality, throughput, and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety standards, regulatory requirements, workplace safety practices, SOPs, and clean production procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead 2nd shift production operations in a high-volume food manufacturing environment.
- Manage production schedules, labor assignments, line performance, and workflow execution.
- Monitor KPIs, downtime, efficiency, quality performance, waste, and production documentation.
- Support employee coaching, training, development, accountability, and cross-functional problem solving.

- 3 to 5 years of production supervision or manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience in food and beverage production, food manufacturing, or a closely related regulated production environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP, food safety, SOPs, production quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Ability to use ERP, production tracking, or reporting systems, with NetSuite and Redzone experience highly relevant.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively on 2nd shift in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using NetSuite, Redzone, or similar production performance and ERP systems.
- Prior experience leading team leads or production employees in a high-volume food processing or packaging operation.
- Background supporting continuous improvement, downtime reduction, waste reduction, and production efficiency initiatives.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are a plus if applicable to the production workforce.
