Job Summary
A growing food production operation in Hanford, CA is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor 2nd Shift for a direct hire opportunity. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment where strong production execution, team development, quality, safety, and continuous improvement are key to success.
The Production Supervisor will lead daily manufacturing line operations, support production planning, monitor performance metrics, and help drive operational excellence using ERP systems, NetSuite, and Redzone. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily 2nd shift production schedules, workflows, labor assignments, and line performance.
- Monitor production output, quality standards, equipment readiness, material availability, and overall operational efficiency.
- Supervise, coach, train, and develop production employees and team leads while supporting hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Track KPIs, production metrics, downtime, efficiency, waste, and documentation through NetSuite, Redzone, and related reporting tools.
- Partner with quality, maintenance, planning, and operations teams to resolve issues impacting safety, quality, throughput, and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, regulatory requirements, workplace safety standards, SOPs, and clean production practices.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead daily production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Manage production schedules, labor planning, workflow adjustments, and line performance.
- Track production KPIs, efficiency metrics, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support quality, safety, GMP compliance, and cross-functional production planning.
- 4+ years of Production Supervisor experience in manufacturing, preferably in food, beverage, or CPG production.
- Experience in continuous processing, high-speed production, or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience required.
- Experience using Redzone for performance tracking, production visibility, or manufacturing optimization.
- Strong understanding of production processes, packaging, quality standards, GMP, and food safety requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop production teams in a results-driven environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, adjust priorities, and drive productivity while maintaining quality and safety.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
- Strong background with KPI tracking, production metrics, waste reduction, and efficiency improvement.
- Experience supporting workforce management, employee training, and team lead development.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices, SOPs, GMP, and regulatory compliance in a food production environment.
