A growing manufacturing operation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, support frontline associates, and help ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards.

This direct hire Production Supervisor opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys being active on the production floor, coaching teams, solving operational challenges, and partnering with cross-functional groups to improve performance. Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day oversight of production operations to ensure schedules, quality standards, safety practices, and KPI targets are met.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, communicate priorities, review production updates, and prepare required shift documentation.
- Verify attendance, maintain accurate headcount reporting, and assign associates to workstations based on production needs.
- Perform regular floor walks to coach team members, monitor workflow, address productivity concerns, and resolve issues in real time.
- Partner with EHS, quality, staffing partners, and operational leadership to support workforce coverage, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare shift transition summaries to support smooth operational handoffs.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $50,000 to $58,240 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead daily manufacturing production operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Supervise, coach, and support production associates on the floor.
- Monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and support uninterrupted production.
- Maintain shift documentation, production records, and operational communication.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to supervise actively on the production floor for extended periods.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, perform under pressure, and maintain a positive, can-do approach.
- Flexibility to work long or demanding hours when required.
- Commitment to upholding company mission, values, safety practices, and code of conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with temporary staffing partners or managing variable production headcount.
- Familiarity with KPI tracking, shift reporting, and continuous improvement practices.
