Job Title: Production & Fabrication Supervisor
Location: Chino, CA
Schedule: 2nd shift Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm (Plus overtime as needed)
Pay Rage: $25-$35 per hour DOE

Summary: The Production & Fabrication Supervisor will coordinate and oversee daily fabrication operations and approximately 60 production employees. This role is critical to ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer commitments are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, communication, and team development. You will lead work center operations by directing and supporting Leads and fabrication personnel, managing priorities across work orders, and collaborating closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Shipping.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Scheduling
•Coordinate daily fabrication priorities to meet production, stocking, and customer order commitments
•Assign and direct work center Leads and personnel using work orders and production schedules
•Identify capacity constraints and recommend labor adjustments such as overtime, staffing changes, or schedule modifications
•Coordinate with 1st and 2nd shift supervisors and expeditors to align production priorities
Leadership & Personnel Management
•Direct, train, and schedule work center Leads and personnel
•Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed
•Ensure personnel are trained in machine operation, safety best practices, and company procedures
Safety & Compliance
•Enforce all safety guidelines related to facility operations, machinery, and personnel
•Complete accident reports, near-miss reports, and employee documentation when required
•Participate in safety, production, maintenance, and facility meetings
Daily Operational Duties
•Review production status, machinery issues, and material availability
•Track attendance and communicate absences, tardiness, and scheduling issues to Operations and HR
•Monitor unfinished fabrication from prior shifts and resolve issues related to machines or materials
•Identify long-lead or special material needs and communicate requirements to Purchasing
•Communicate sales order changes, ship date adjustments, and quantity changes with Customer Service and Shipping
Customer Service & Sales Support
•Meet with Sales and Customer Service regarding new orders, changes, or special requirements
•Schedule and provide product samples when requested
Communication & Documentation
•Clearly communicate production requirements, status updates, challenges, and recommendations
•Provide supporting documentation for product or BOM change recommendations
•Use company communication tools (email, calendar, text) effectively for daily operations
•Communicate daily attendance updates to HR
Additional Responsibilities
•Participate in scheduled inventories
•Support other supervisors with scheduling, training, and personnel management
•Assist Purchasing with material reviews and requirements
Qualifications & Skills
•Proven recent experience in a manufacturing or fabrication supervisory role
•Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
•Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
