-Production Lead / Supervisor (Electromechanical Manufacturing)
• Location: Ventura, CA
• Pay: $25-30/hr DOE
• Hours: Monday – Thursday 6am-4pm (occasional OT)
• This is a hands-on working supervisor role. The individual will have direct reports while also spending a significant amount of time on the production floor assembling and supporting line operations.
-Position Summary
• Under minimal supervision, and using independent judgment and decision-making, this role oversees a team of electromechanical assemblers and test technicians to achieve company objectives related to quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
• This individual is a key member of the manufacturing team and may lead kaizen events to support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. This job description is applicable across all product lines.
-Key Responsibilities
• Monitor production schedules, materials, and staffing levels
• Lead kaizen events focused on continuous process improvement
• Identify and resolve operational challenges
• Determine workforce requirements to meet production goals
• Create and maintain production reports and documentation related to schedules, performance, quality, and delivery metrics
• Establish and enforce high safety standards
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members
• Recommend improvements in materials, equipment, and processes
-Supervision:
• Directly supervises teams of assemblers, adjusters, and test technicians.
