Our client is a leading producer of custom wines, fruit juice concentrates, bulk wine, and industrial grape juice, blending traditional enology with advanced processing technology to deliver high-quality products for customers nationwide.
We’re seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations across fruit crushing, cellar production, juice processing, blending, filtration, and concentrate manufacturing. If you have a background in wine production, beverage manufacturing, or food processing, this is an outstanding opportunity to grow within an innovative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Cellar Operations
Supervise daily activities in fruit receiving, crushing, pressing, juice extraction, fermentation, and bulk wine production.
Coordinate workflows across cellar operations, blending, filtration, pasteurization, and concentrate processing.
Monitor production parameters to ensure quality, consistency, and enological accuracy.
Operate and oversee equipment such as crushers, presses, centrifuges, crossflow filters, pumps, evaporators, and tank systems.
Team Leadership:
Train, coach, and support production and cellar teams.
Assign daily tasks, manage labor resources, and maintain productivity targets.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and craftsmanship.
Safety, Quality & Compliance:
Maintain compliance with GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety regulations.
Partner with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality from fruit intake through finished goods.
Enforce safety policies and participate in incident-prevention initiatives.
Production Tracking & Reporting:
Maintain accurate crush reports, batch records, tank logs, and production documentation.
Track yields, inventory movement, throughput, and equipment performance.
Collaborate with maintenance, winemaking, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly.
Required Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in wine production, beverage manufacturing, food processing, or agricultural production.
Strong understanding of cellar operations, fermentation, juice/wine processing, or fruit crushing.
Supervisory or lead experience in a production environment.
Clear communication skills with the ability to manage teams and meet production deadlines.
Knowledge of wine/juice production equipment and food-safety compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Enology coursework or industry certifications.
Experience in custom crush facilities or large-scale juice/wine operations.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
