Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, customer service, and warehouse teams to support on-time order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels, material constraints, schedule changes, and potential production delays.
- Review customer orders, production capacity, lead times, and work order priorities to support accurate scheduling.
- Communicate schedule updates, planning issues, and production priorities to cross-functional teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to production planning, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
- Direct-hire opportunity.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Build and maintain production schedules for a manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate material availability, inventory needs, and work order priorities.
- Communicate production plans and schedule changes across operations, purchasing, customer service, and warehouse teams.
- Support on-time order fulfillment through accurate planning and proactive issue resolution.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in production planning, operations planning, manufacturing scheduling, supply chain, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of production schedules, inventory levels, material availability, lead times, and manufacturing workflow.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including production, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service.
- Ability to analyze customer orders, forecasts, capacity, and inventory data to support scheduling decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally share priorities, updates, and planning concerns.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to adjust to changing production needs.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, production planning software, or spreadsheet-based scheduling tools is helpful.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production operations environment.
- Familiarity with inventory control, materials coordination, purchasing support, or warehouse workflow.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for tracking schedules, inventory data, order status, or planning reports.
- Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in improving planning accuracy, workflow efficiency, and on-time delivery.
