Production Operator – Manufacturing
Location: Jackson, MI 49201
Shifts: Must be flexible for 1st or 2nd shift
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role
We’re hiring a hands-on Production Operator to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role involves operating material handling equipment, supporting production workflows, handling chemicals, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment. Strong attendance and teamwork are essential. This position has potential opportunity for full-time permanent placement based on performance.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift, pallet jack & material handling equipment
Load drums, sacks, and containers with finished chemical product
Perform general production and assembly duties
Support chemical process operations
Complete daily production documentation accurately
Maintain strong housekeeping & safety standards
Identify & report safety issues
Wear required PPE (including goggles/face shield when needed)
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year manufacturing / production experience
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork
Willingness to work any shift + overtime as required
Preferred
Chemical manufacturing experience
SAP knowledge
Basic computer skills
Forklift experience
Strong communication skills
