We are seeking a skilled Production Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Livermore, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional with experience operating production, filling, or packaging equipment in a cGMP environment.
As a Production Operator, you will help keep production running efficiently by monitoring equipment, supporting line personnel, performing basic troubleshooting, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production equipment during operation to support optimal throughput, quality, and efficiency.
- Provide guidance to line personnel on proper equipment operation and production flow.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on packaging and filling equipment to identify and correct minor issues.
- Disassemble, assemble, clean, and prepare filling, packaging, transfer pump, nozzle, piston, and related equipment according to SOPs.
- Set lot numbers, batch numbers, and expiration dates based on customer order requirements.
- Notify the Set-Up Supervisor of potential equipment issues, failures, or maintenance concerns.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Livermore, CA.
- Operate and monitor production, filling, and packaging equipment in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Support equipment setup, cleaning, assembly, disassembly, and line changeover activities.
- Maintain accurate lot, batch, and expiration date setup according to production order requirements.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and compliant production work areas.
- At least 2 years of production manufacturing experience required.
- Experience working in a cGMP-regulated production environment.
- Basic knowledge of packaging equipment and minor troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to follow SOPs, cleaning procedures, setup instructions, and safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, reliability, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with supervisors, setup teams, and production line personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of related production operator experience.
- Experience with filling equipment, packaging machinery, transfer pumps, nozzles, pistons, or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Prior experience supporting equipment cleaning, setup, and changeover in a regulated manufacturing environment.
