Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator for a contract opportunity in Taunton, MA. This Manufacturing Process Operator role is ideal for candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience who are comfortable working with production equipment, measuring materials accurately, following work orders, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

In this role, you will support daily manufacturing operations including mixing, compound blending, screening, milling, material movement, equipment monitoring, and quality checks. You will work in a structured, safety-focused production environment where teamwork, dependable communication, and attention to detail are valued. Key Responsibilities

- Monitor production processes, equipment, gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate machine operation.
- Accurately measure, mix, blend, weigh, transfer, label, and document materials according to work orders, formulas, and production procedures.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products visually and by touch to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Move materials, supplies, and finished goods between work areas using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform routine equipment cleanouts, basic maintenance checks, and troubleshooting to identify and correct operating issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, maintain a clean work area, and report equipment, safety, or product-quality concerns promptly.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $24 per hour.
- Job Type: 4-month contract with possible extension.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate production equipment used in mixing, compound blending, screening, and milling processes.
- Accurately follow work orders, processing requirements, formulas, and customer specifications.
- Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot production issues, and take appropriate corrective action.
- Record production data, label batches, submit QA/QC samples, and support quality control requirements.

- Manufacturing experience is required.
- Ability to follow production procedures, work orders, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately measure, weigh, record, and label materials.
- Ability to inspect materials and finished products for quality, consistency, and specification compliance.
- Ability to safely move materials and finished products using hand tools and appropriate equipment.
- Ability to identify operating issues and communicate maintenance, safety, or quality concerns.
- Comfortable wearing and properly using required personal protective equipment.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a hands-on production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with mixing, compound blending, screening, milling, extrusion preparation, or similar manufacturing processes.
- Experience submitting production samples to QA/QC and following batch labeling requirements.
- Previous experience working from formula sheets, batch records, or detailed manufacturing work instructions.
