Job Summary
We are seeking a safety-focused Production Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Cleveland, OH. This role supports chemical manufacturing operations by operating process equipment, following batch instructions, and producing adhesive products that meet quality and production standards.
The Production Operator will work in a structured manufacturing environment where safety, teamwork, accuracy, and accountability are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
- Operate process equipment and production machinery to manufacture adhesive and chemical products safely and efficiently.
- Follow batch ticket instructions, weighing procedures, and material addition protocols to ensure accurate product production.
- Set up, adjust, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment during production runs.
- Inspect product quality, identify faulty materials, and support rework or removal processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily production records and follow all departmental standard operating procedures.
- Adhere to all safety, health, environmental, quality, and production requirements while working independently or as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range is $25 to $26.50 per hour.
- Shift Timings: 2nd Shift: 3 PM to 11:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
3rd Shift: 11 PM to 7:30 AM (Monday to Friday)

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Operate chemical mixing and production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Follow batch-making instructions, weighing requirements, and material addition procedures.
- Monitor product quality, production equipment, and process performance.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and support safe daily operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for approximately 90% of the shift.
- Ability to follow precise instructions, batch tickets, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and production standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic process or equipment issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling hazardous chemicals.
- Forklift experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Prior experience in chemical mixing, adhesives, batch production, or hazardous materials handling.
