We are seeking a reliable Production Operator to support daily operations for a well-established company in the Lafayette area. This role requires hands-on experience in production, warehouse, and inventory tracking in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills

Key Responsibilities: 
- Operate within a production environment, managing material flow and output
- Accurately track production data, material usage, and inventory levels
- Complete and maintain detailed documentation and reporting

- Maintain clean, organized warehouse and production areas

- Support shipping & receiving, including paperwork and inventory updates

- Conduct routine safety inspections and compliance checks

- Communicate issues, discrepancies, and updates to leadership in a timely manner




Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

- At least 2 years of recent experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment

- Proven experience with inventory tracking, material handling, or production reporting

- Ability to read, interpret, and work with weights/measures (scales, material quantities, etc.)

- Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate documentation

- Comfortable using basic computer systems for data entry and reporting

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision

- Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift

- Reliable attendance and consistent work history




Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a regulated or safety-focused environment

- Prior involvement with shipping/receiving processes or inventory audits

- Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and compliance checks



Additional Requirements:
Must pass a background check
Completion of a light industrial online assessment (~15 minutes) required prior to submission

Compensation: $18-20 an hour, DOE
On site, full time hours, open ended temporary position
