The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. The role manages production teams, coordinates manufacturing schedules, and works with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to support efficient and consistent production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily manufacturing operations including silk screen printing, laser marking, and related production processes. Execute production plans and schedules to meet output and delivery requirements. Monitor productivity, yield, downtime, and quality results. Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials.
Team Leadership and Workforce Management
Supervise production supervisors, team leaders, technicians, and operators across approximately 50 to 60 employees. Coordinate staffing, shift schedules, and daily workforce allocation. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback. Maintain engagement and operational discipline on the production floor.
Quality and Process Control
Ensure production processes follow established work instructions and quality standards. Work with Quality and Engineering teams to address production issues and support corrective actions. Monitor and improve product quality and consistency.
Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, workflow, and equipment utilization. Support lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. Promote safe work practices and maintain a safe production environment. Support workplace organization and 5S standards.
Cross Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to support smooth order fulfillment. Support production readiness for new products or customer programs. Provide production reports and updates to operations leadership.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Knowledge of manufacturing operations and production workflows. Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred
Five to seven years of manufacturing or production experience
Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
3-5 Years Supervisor experience
