We are a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently met while driving team performance and operational efficiency.
This is a key leadership position with the opportunity to make a direct impact on production success and support continued facility growth.
What You’ll Do
Production Oversight
Manage daily manufacturing operations, including decorative printing and product marking processes
Execute production plans and schedules to meet output and delivery goals
Monitor key metrics such as productivity, yield, downtime, and quality performance
Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Lead and develop a team of 50–60 production employees, including supervisors, leads, and operators
Coordinate staffing, shift scheduling, and daily workforce allocation
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback
Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team environment
Quality & Process Control
Ensure adherence to work instructions and quality standards
Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve production issues
Support initiatives to improve product consistency and reduce defects
Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and equipment utilization
Support implementation of lean manufacturing and process improvements
Analyze production data and implement corrective actions as needed
Safety & Compliance
Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and procedures
Maintain a safe and organized production environment (5S)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to support order fulfillment
Support production readiness for new programs and product launches
Provide regular updates and reporting to operations leadership
What We’re Looking For
5–7 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
2–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Proven ability to manage teams and drive production performance
Strong understanding of production workflows and manufacturing operations
Experience analyzing metrics and implementing process improvements
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred:
Experience in printing, packaging, plastics, or consumer products manufacturing
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or related field
Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting tools
Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Chinese)
