Production Manager
Kansas City Metro | On-site | Manufacturing & Operations Leadership
We’re partnering with growing manufacturers across the Kansas City metro that need hands-on Production Managers who can run the floor, build strong teams, and keep output moving without cutting corners.
This is not a desk-only role. Our clients are looking for leaders who understand production realities and can balance people, process, and performance.
What you’ll be responsible for
• Leading daily production operations to hit safety, quality, and output targets
• Managing and developing supervisors, leads, and production teams
• Driving efficiency through scheduling, labor planning, and workflow optimization
• Partnering with quality, maintenance, and supply chain to minimize downtime
• Enforcing GMP, safety, and compliance standards
• Using production data and KPIs to identify issues and implement improvements
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices
What our clients are looking for
• 5+ years of production or operations leadership experience in manufacturing
• Experience in food, CPG, packaging, plastics, chemical, or regulated environments preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume operations
• Strong understanding of safety, quality systems, and SOP-driven environments
• Comfortable being on the floor, not just in meetings
• Clear communicator who holds teams accountable and builds trust
