Production Manager – Manufacturing Leadership

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead our manufacturing organization in delivering high-quality products on time while aligning with strategic business objectives. This key leadership role demands a balance of operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement to drive sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Process Leadership: Own the entire manufacturing process, from raw materials through final inspection and shipment, ensuring simultaneous achievement of quality standards and throughput goals.

Standards & Compliance: Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), IPC/WHMA-A-620, AS9100, and customer-specific requirements across all production stages.

Performance Management: Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery (OTD), yield, scrap reduction, and rework minimization.

Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ownership at every level—from operators to inspectors.

Integrated Quality Management: Embed quality practices throughout production rather than relying solely on inspection, promoting early defect detection and prevention.

Employee Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on technical skills and quality responsibility, cultivating a “everyone owns quality” mindset.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and eliminate waste, reduce rework, and minimize variation through Lean methodologies to enhance throughput and product integrity.

Resource Optimization: Effectively balance labor, equipment, and scheduling priorities to meet customer commitments without compromising quality.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with AS9100 and customer standards at every process stage.

Problem-Solving Leadership: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, utilizing production and inspection data to drive lasting process improvements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing manufacturing or production operations with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Strong knowledge of industry standards including IPC/WHMA-A-620 and AS9100.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to engage and develop teams.

Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

What We Offer:

Opportunity to lead a high-performing production team.

Culture of ownership, growth, and continuous improvement.

Competitive compensation and benefits package.
