Hands-On Production Supervisor (Electronics / Aerospace Manufacturing)
Are you a working leader who thrives on the production floor? We are seeking a Hands-On Production Supervisor with experience in electronic manufacturing or aerospace environments to lead a team while actively contributing on the line. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing leadership with hands-on assembly and testing work while driving productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.
You will supervise a team of electromechanical assemblers, adjusters, and test technicians, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
Location: Ventura, CA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4-day work week!)
Pay: Up to $30/hour (
Start Date: ASAP
What You'll Do
• Supervise and support teams of assemblers, adjusters, and test technicians
• Work alongside the team on the production line, assisting with assembly and troubleshooting
• Monitor production schedules, materials, and workforce resources
• Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify and resolve operational and production issues
• Determine staffing needs to meet production targets
• Maintain production reports and documentation related to schedules, quality, and performance
• Enforce strict safety standards across the production floor
• Hire, train, evaluate, and mentor team members
• Recommend improvements related to materials, equipment, and processes
What We're Looking For
• Experience in electronic manufacturing or aerospace production environments
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting (preferably electromechanical or aerospace/defense)
• Strong hands-on assembly experience with electromechanical products
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Trade school training in mechanical design, electronics, or related field OR 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred (not required)
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
