Production Coordinator II - Aerospace

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for firsthand communication with customers and use of customer portals as needed. This includes building and executing expedite plans throughout the value stream. Issues/tracks work orders and ensures work orders are moving through the work centers per ERP schedule. This position is also responsible for expediting, prioritizing, monitoring and controlling aging work orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Release work orders
• Track WIP through production process
• Identify constraints and elevate issues impacting customer delivery
• Work with OSP and Purchasing to confirm/align need dates and set priorities
• Coordinate customer shipments
• Coordinate with Quality on NCMR’s and other quality issues
• Coordinate with Engineering on requirements and BOM/WO related changes
• Provide delivery status to customers
• Work with customers on schedule relief and delivery metrics
• Coordinate customer returns and replacement
• Create and coordinate execution of expedite plans
• Access and update Customer portals
• Facilitate meetings to support Customer deliveries as needed
• Review and act on changes identified during contract review (COA)
• Utilize and update tools needed when ERP is not sufficient to manage parts/programs
• Consignment Inventory Management

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Intermediate Skills - Microsoft Office Suite
• 1+ years of Production Control or Customer Service in Aerospace Industry
