Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate - 2nd shift for a contract/temporary opportunity in Gallatin, TN within a food and beverage production environment. This role supports the safe, efficient production and packaging of food products while helping ensure quality, food safety, GMP, and customer requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

- Work across production and packaging lines in roles such as packer, counter, trayer, molder, and related production support functions.
- Package, label, seal, count, palletize, rework, recase, and repackage finished food products as needed.
- Operate or assist with production and packaging equipment, including scales, palletizers, box erectors, and box-taping equipment.
- Perform minor equipment adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and accurate production and quality documentation.
- Move materials using manual and electric pallet jacks while maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, quality, safety, and standard operating procedure requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Shift: 2nd shift.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support food production and packaging line operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Package, label, palletize, document, and inspect products to meet quality and customer standards.
- Assist with equipment operation, basic troubleshooting, material movement, and production area cleanliness.

- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience level preferred based on role expectations.
- Previous food manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, logistics, or industrial experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable attendance record and strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Ability to follow written procedures, SOPs, GMP guidelines, food safety requirements, and sanitation standards.
- Basic computer, tablet, and data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production setting.
- Willing and able to cross-train across multiple production and packaging functions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around food ingredients and allergens, as well as varying hot and cold temperatures.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or schedule changes based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in food and beverage production, packaging, warehouse, logistics, or other industrial production environments.
- Experience using pallet jacks, scales, palletizers, box erectors, or box-taping equipment.
- Familiarity with GMP, food safety, sanitation, quality checks, or production documentation.
