North OC, CA: Product Manager, supporting DuraVision and Raptor Product lines. The primary markets that will be supported are Air Traffic Control, Video Security, Maritime and Industrial markets. Product Managers will be the technical contact for customers and interface with companies factories.
Responsibilities:
• An understanding of video security networks and VMS platforms like Genetec and Milestone.
• Collecting feedback from customers and our factory, then making recommendations for project scope. Recommending solutions by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or solution ideas.
• Provides information to management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, reports and analyses.
• Develops new product introduction plans by developing plans with sales, marketing, and operations.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Meets with customers and prospects at companies facility, trade shows, customer sites for presentations, demonstrations, updates and management meetings.
• Handle customer escalations (technical issues) from technical support organization.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with a high degree of technical knowledge and above average communication skills. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and / or Experience
The applicant should have an Engineering, Science or Business Administration Degree, with 5 years or more of technical sales or product management experience. The applicant should possess a working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. The applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and passport. The job will require 15% travel, mostly within the US, but some international travel may be required.
