About the Role
A confidential food manufacturing company is seeking a Product Development Trainee to join its Quality & R&D team. This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity to gain real-world experience in food formulation, lab testing, quality systems, and product commercialization, with clear growth potential into Product Development or R&D roles.
What You’ll Do
Support lab and benchtop product development trials
Prepare, document, and ship R&D samples
Maintain accurate records using Excel and internal systems
Assist with formulation, testing, and scale-up activities
Perform basic analytical testing (pH, Brix, etc.)
Support food safety, quality, and regulatory documentation
Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Procurement teams
Help keep the lab organized, stocked, and audit-ready
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Food Science or equivalent hands-on experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment
Basic to moderate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Interest in food formulation, ingredients, and product innovation
Team-oriented with a curious, problem-solving mindset
