AppleOne has partnered with a company in Huntington Beach needing an experienced Procurement/Stockroom Specialist.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for evaluating and maintaining supplier quality standards, managing procurement activities, and collaborating across departments to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Responsible for overseeing and maintaining inventory in the stockroom, ensuring items are properly stored and tracked.
Essential Job Functions:
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Ability to work on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment
• Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damaged goods, credits, or incorrect orders.
•Maintain vendor relationships as well as looking for new vendors.
•Work closely with engineering and Production to ensure delivery of high quality, reliable products on schedule and within budget.
•Oversee Organize and maintain stockroom inventory in a clean and orderly manner.
•Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
•Suggest improvements to inventory control procedures to minimize waste and shortages for management approval and implementation.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Experience and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years Manufacturing or Production Experience
2+ years in purchasing experience
2+ years in stockroom experience
Requirements
Clear oral and written communications
Strong technical knowledge and “hands on” skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Strong time management, organizational skills and communication skills
Organized, detail oriented, and maintains accurate records
Proficient in Microsoft office
