Job Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Temecula, CA with a manufacturing organization supporting flexible packaging and print production operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented purchasing professional who understands procurement, vendor coordination, materials sourcing, and production support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Procurement Specialist will help ensure materials, equipment, and services are purchased accurately, cost-effectively, and on time to support customer orders and production schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Purchase materials, equipment, and services needed to support customer orders and production requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with print vendors, prepress service providers, specialty production partners, and material suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal flexible packaging and production teams to understand job specifications, technical requirements, timelines, and material needs.
- Monitor vendor performance, lead times, compliance, service reliability, pricing changes, and usage trends.
- Troubleshoot material, supplier, or order-related issues to help minimize production delays.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, quotes, vendor agreements, approvals, order histories, and procurement documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour.
- Annual salary range: $58,240 to $64,480 per year.
- Location: Temecula, CA.



Required Qualifications and Skills
- Purchase production materials based on customer orders and technical job requirements.
- Manage vendor communication, purchase orders, quotes, delivery updates, and procurement documentation.
- Support cost control, inventory accuracy, vendor performance tracking, and procurement process improvements.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve material-related or vendor-related production issues.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of procurement experience, ideally in printing, packaging, or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of prepress processes, print production, substrates, and flexible packaging materials.
- Proven negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
- Proficiency with procurement systems, inventory tools, project management tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, follow-through, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and communicate proactively with internal teams and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of sustainable print materials and environmentally preferred substrates.
- Background in supply chain management, print manufacturing, or flexible packaging operations.
