We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Support professional to assist our Procurement Department by providing essential administrative and operational support. This role is responsible for building and maintaining SKUs for both procurement and sales teams, including daily reviews of new and existing SKUs to ensure accuracy of pricing, UPCs, and other required information. The position will manage vendor maintenance by updating general vendor information, collecting and uploading vendor price lists, discounts, and freight details, and staying informed of pricing and freight changes. Responsibilities also include completing yearly, system-wide price updates; matching SKUs to vendor costs; filling in missing SKUs; reviewing vendor costs to ensure margin requirements are met; importing SKUs into new vendor price lists; and comparing costs year over year for review. The Procurement Support role will produce Excel “cheat sheets” to support the procurement team with pricing decisions, upload finalized data to NetSuite, maintain vendor availability files on shared drives, and assist with purchase order maintenance, including providing state purchasing teams with daily reports of next-day deliveries. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and inventory management software, along with exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with plants and/or the landscaping industry is a plus.
