Job Title: Procurement Agent
Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Mondays and Tuesdays)
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Pay Rate: $16–$32/hour (Based on Experience)
About the Role:
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Agent to support sourcing and purchasing functions for a leading utility company in Rosemead, CA. This hybrid role (2 days onsite per week) offers a great opportunity to build on your procurement experience while contributing to essential business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Evaluation & Selection: Assess and select vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and reputation
Negotiation: Secure favorable pricing, terms, and contracts through strategic negotiations
Order Management: Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
Contract Administration: Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with vendors to uphold quality standards and resolve supply issues
Risk Management: Identify procurement-related risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate procurement records and generate routine reports
Required Skills & Attributes:
Strong negotiation and communication abilities
Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
