Probate Paralegal

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Probate Paralegal to join a well-established legal team in Tampa, FL. This role will support attorneys with estate administration, probate filings, legal research, and case management.
This is a great opportunity for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working closely with attorneys, clients, and courts to ensure probate matters are handled efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with estate administration and probate matters
Prepare and file probate documents including petitions, inventories, and accountings
Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
Maintain and organize case files using document management systems (iManage, PCLaw, or similar)
Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, courts, and financial institutions
Review legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Draft legal correspondence and assist with documentation related to estate planning matters
Manage multiple cases while ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met
Qualifications
Previous paralegal experience in probate or estate planning strongly preferred
Strong understanding of probate procedures and estate administration
Experience with legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis)
Familiarity with PCLaw, iManage, or other legal document management systems is a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Nice to Have
Experience or exposure to areas such as family law, litigation, securities law, or other related legal fields is a plus but not required.
