About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment? Join our Specialty Pharmacy team as a Patient Access Specialist. This role focuses on accurate data entry, creating and updating patient accounts, and providing overflow customer service support across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter data to create and update patient accounts and cases.
Assist with overflow customer service tasks across departments.
Update account information based on input from medical billers.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.


Required Experience

Previous experience with prior authorizations and medical insurance knowledge (Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers).


Qualifications & Skills

Strong and accurate data entry skills.
Previous experience in specialty pharmacy and customer service.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and keyboarding.
Ability to manage high-pressure, time-sensitive situations using sound judgment and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and openness to feedback.


Preferred Experience

Familiarity with databases or CRM systems.
Background in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding of challenges faced by patients with medical conditions.
