We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Print Production Associate for a contract-to-permanent opportunity in Seattle, WA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on office services work, high-volume print production, document handling, mailroom support, and providing responsive service in a professional office environment.
The Print Production Associate will support daily copy, print, scan, mail, shipping, and document services while helping keep production areas organized, stocked, and running efficiently. This position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, the opportunity to build valuable office services experience, and a path toward long-term employment for the right candidate. You will be part of a team-oriented environment where reliability, attention to detail, and strong customer service are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-volume copiers, printers, scanners, postage equipment, and mail-processing systems.
- Complete document production tasks including copying, scanning, binding, cutting, stapling, sorting, and finishing.
- Process, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing mail, packages, shipments, supplies, fax transmissions, and completed print jobs.
- Perform quality checks, clear paper jams, report equipment issues, and help maintain accurate service logs, meter readings, inventory records, and billing information.
- Respond professionally to customer requests, service calls, and job status inquiries while supporting timely completion of work.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked copier, mailroom, and production areas, and assist with filing, archiving, shipping, receiving, and other site support duties.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $19.08 to $24.14 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job type: Contract/temporary with potential to convert to permanent.
- Location: Seattle, WA.
- Operate print, copy, scan, mail, and shipping equipment in a fast-paced office services environment.
- Complete document production, finishing, mail distribution, and records support tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Provide customer service support for print jobs, service requests, equipment questions, and job status updates.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred for this Print Production Associate role.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office, email, image-handling software, and standard office systems.
- Technical aptitude with printers, copiers, scanners, postage machines, and other office equipment.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move up to 50 to 55 lbs.
- Comfortable working around equipment and occasionally moving equipment on wheels.
- Ability to travel between customer buildings and deliver completed jobs as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous copy center, print production, mailroom, records management, shipping and receiving, or office services experience.
- Experience operating high-volume production copiers, scanners, binding equipment, postage machines, or mail-processing equipment.
- Familiarity with maintaining service logs, inventory records, billing information, and daily meter readings.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team-focused, customer service-driven environment.
