Print Operations Technician

Responsible for printing, fulfilling, and shipping confidential documents within company print centers. Ensures all job files and packages are handled promptly and accurately. Fulfills print orders from clients and prepares documents for shipment.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prints and constructs digital packages, incorporating inserts and other materials as necessary for shipment
Completes delivery documentation for couriers, i.e. FedEx or USPS
Verifies shipment in delivery and courier systems.
Operates digital printing, mailing, and duplicating equipment.
Maintains inventory of printing and duplication supplies.
Gathers, verifies, and packs documents for shipment according to specifications requested.
Works with limited time requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
A high school diploma or GED is required for this role.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Capacity to lift or move up to 25 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time
Proficient written and oral communication skills in dealing with employees or external customers/clients
Verifies, documents, and bundles documents and indicates extra or missing documents according to procedure.
Knowledge of print services process
Proficiency to proof materials for accuracy and completeness of information
Proficiency to sort documents and other materials using predetermined guidelines (e.g., alphabetical order, distribution list, zip code, cost center list, copy instructions)
Proficiency in using PCs, postage meter and other general office equipment experience
Proficiency to work independently
Organizational and time management skills required

Entry-level role requiring basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Has general understanding of print operations. Works under close to moderate supervision to ensure accuracy. Consults with senior peers on processes or errors to learn through experience. Typically requires up to one (1) year of print processing and distribution or equivalent experience.
