This Price Cost Analyst Position Features:

Immediate need for an experienced Price Costing Analyst in the Chatsworth area. This position will perform heavy analysis, report creation and support multiple internal departments with the following duties:


-Evaluate cost drivers to establish accurate product costs and ensure adherence to cost standards
-Deliver actionable cost insights to project teams and develop competitive, margin-protecting pricing quotes
-Partner cross-functionally to support timely, accurate pricing decisions and maintain pricing integrity across all customer engagements
-Analyze and price new and existing products, assessing contribution margin impacts using pricing tools
-Support project reviews by validating customer requirements and ensuring pricing accuracy in quotes
-Evaluate labor rates and manufacturing processes to identify cost drivers and margin impacts
-Collect and analyze raw material and component costs in collaboration with procurement; assess standard versus recommended costs and identify variances
-Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, sales, and management to develop formal pricing quotations
-Prepare financial analyses and reports to support management decision-making, special projects, and cost control initiatives
-Maintain quote logs, repricing status, project documentation, and pricing playbooks in Microsoft Teams
-Partner with order processing to ensure customer purchase orders align with quoted pricing
-Meet target pricing turnaround times (14 days)

REQUIREMENTS:

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
-Recent experience in pricing, costing, or financial analysis
-Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and pricing tools
-Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
