Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Ana, CA within the automotive and parts manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities

- Set up CNC press brake machines by selecting and installing the correct dies, punches, and tooling based on material type, thickness, and job requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specification sheets.
- Program, adjust, and operate CNC press brakes to achieve correct bend angles, pressure, depth, and overall part accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow OSHA and facility safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $60,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment for production runs.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to form parts to specification.
- Measure and inspect bent components to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain safe, efficient, and organized production practices.

- 1-2 years of press brake operating experience, preferably with CNC press brakes.
- Experience with CNC press brake equipment such as Trumpf, Amada, or similar machines.
- Ability to calculate bend angles, bend deductions, material stretch, and related measurements using geometry and arithmetic.
- Familiarity with CNC controls, machine settings, and downloading or transferring programs.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a manufacturing production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in automotive or parts manufacturing.
- Prior experience troubleshooting CNC press brake setup or production issues.
- Familiarity with multiple press brake control systems or machine brands.
