Pre-Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will assist attorneys, case coordinators, and other paralegals in managing personal injury cases. You will handle a variety of tasks including organizing files, communicating with clients and insurance adjusters, and assisting with the preparation of legal documents.

Responsibilities:
Data entry into the firm's electronic database and management of physical files
Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and local authorities
Draft and send correspondence to clients and adjusters
Process incoming mail and manage document storage
Assist in gathering and updating medical records, billing, and insurance information
Prepare basic legal documents for attorney review and file with county clerks
Draft closing documentation upon settlement in coordination with the accounting department

Qualifications:
Required:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Prior office and customer service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Paralegal certification or degree
Prior paralegal experience
