Pre-Construction Manager
Location: Central Florida | Department: Pre-Construction
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (rare evenings/weekends)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly detailed and organized Pre-Construction Manager to oversee estimating and pre-construction activities for commercial projects. This role requires strong numerical skills, excellent grammar, and exceptional communication—both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, architectural firms, subcontractors, and trade partners, ensuring accurate estimates, clear communication, and smooth pre-construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle estimating and pre-construction for commercial projects
Develop detailed budgets, cost analyses, and variance reports
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to provide transparent cost feedback
Walk job sites with subcontractors and coordinate with trade partners
Prepare bid packages, issue RFPs, and evaluate subcontractor proposals
Support project buyout and turnover to operations teams
Maintain clear, professional communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings
Ensure accurate documentation, proposals, and reports
Qualifications & Skills
Strong numerical, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, including professional email and phone correspondence
Experience interfacing with clients, architectural firms, and subcontractors
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in estimating software (ProEst, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, or similar) and Microsoft Office
OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)
5–10+ years of commercial construction estimating / pre-construction experience preferred
