Seeking Part-Time Pool Monitor for the summer season, working approximately 20 hours per week from May 22 through mid-July. The schedule will consist of afternoon hours, with no Mondays required(with the exception of Memorial Day on May 25th).
This role requires an assertive, confident individual who can take ownership of the position and is comfortable enforcing pool rules. Responsibilities include monitoring pool activity, addressing rule violations (such as no alcohol and no loud music), and contacting 911 in the event of an emergency. The Pool Monitor will be stationed in the pool house office located adjacent to the pool and will oversee guest activity from that office.
Requirements:
Clean background and ability to pass a drug screen
Strong communication skills; not timid
Ability to enforce rules professionally and consistently
No computer skills required.
Preferred (not required):
Lifeguard and/or CPR certification
The position does not require lifeguard duties or certifications, but related experience is considered a plus.
