Job Summary
We are seeking a Plumbing BIM Detailer / Designer for a direct hire opportunity in Pewaukee, WI. This role supports the design, modeling, coordination, and documentation of plumbing systems for commercial construction projects.
The Plumbing BIM Detailer / Designer will work closely with project teams to develop accurate Revit models, detailed layouts, and construction-ready documentation that support efficient field installation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain plumbing BIM models using Revit and, when needed, AutoCAD.
- Produce detailed plumbing drawings, coordinated layouts, and fabrication-ready documentation.
- Coordinate plumbing systems with mechanical, electrical, structural, and other building trades.
- Review designs for constructability, code compliance, accuracy, and installation feasibility.
- Incorporate redlines, RFIs, field updates, and project revisions into BIM models and drawings.
- Support project teams through design, coordination, documentation, and construction phases.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Develop plumbing BIM models and detailed construction documentation for commercial projects.
- Coordinate plumbing layouts with other trades to reduce conflicts and support successful installation.
- Review drawings and models for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Support project teams by updating models based on redlines, RFIs, and field information.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Plumbing Detailer, BIM Technician, Plumbing BIM Designer, or similar role.
- Proficiency with Revit for plumbing system modeling and documentation.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, layouts, installation methods, and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with applicable plumbing codes and industry standards.
- Ability to collaborate with internal project teams, contractors, and trade partners.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced commercial construction project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial or industrial project experience.
- BIM coordination or clash detection experience.
- Experience working with contractors, fabrication teams, or field installation teams.
