Plant Maintenance Manager – Manufacturing
Location: Las Piedras Puerto Rico
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 annual base + performance incentives
Position Objective
The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and supervising all activities related to the upkeep of manufacturing equipment, support systems, plant facilities, and utilities. The role ensures maximum operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct and supervise maintenance operations for production equipment, support systems, physical plant, and utilities.
• Develop and oversee preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs (TPM, OEE, RCM).
• Lead process automation projects to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Design and monitor performance metrics based on TPM, OEE, and reliability.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and predictive maintenance tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, OSHA, ISO 22000, and company safety and environmental standards.
• Manage CMMS systems for maintenance scheduling, execution, and reporting.
• Provide leadership and development for the maintenance team.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs and modern manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with OSHA and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Availability to work weekends, overtime, holidays, rotating shifts, and occasional domestic/international travel.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
