Planner / Scheduler
Pay: $30-38/hr DOE
Location: role is on-site in Valencia, CA
*Must have manufacturing*

Summary
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

Qualifications
• Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years production planning experience in a related industry


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of materials background including but not limited to: Shop floor control and lean manufacturing experience along with full knowledge of capacity and planning.
• Experience in continuous improvement, visual factory and material handling systems supporting internal and external material flow are key elements.
• Bill of Materials, Routers, work instructions, part masters, item masters, basic frame work for MRP Systems.
• Global Shop a plus.
