Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Picker Packer with forklift experience to join our warehouse team. This individual will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately pick products and materials based on customer orders, pick tickets, or work instructions.
Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
Verify product quantities and inspect items for damage or defects.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
Operate a forklift to safely move, stack, and organize inventory and materials.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing warehouse inventory.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
Previous forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred but not required.
Ability to accurately read pick tickets, labels, and work orders.
Basic computer or RF scanner experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift.
