Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Picker / Packers for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Schererville, IN. Key Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems.
- Pack products securely and verify item quantities to ensure safe, accurate shipment.
- Inspect products for quality before labeling, staging, and preparing orders for shipping.
- Restock inventory, assist with cycle counts, and support receiving or sorting tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety and quality standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet productivity, accuracy, and shipping goals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $17 to $22 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Use pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse systems to support efficient order fulfillment.
- Inspect products, verify quantities, and maintain quality standards.
- Support warehouse organization, inventory restocking, cycle counts, and general warehouse duties.
- 1 to 2 years of related warehouse, picking, packing, distribution, production, or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and basic math and reading skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or pick ticket processes.
- Prior picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, distribution, or assembly line experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, production, or fulfillment environment.
