Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Photonics Assembler for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Camarillo, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on manufacturing or precision assembly experience who enjoy working with small components, microscopes, and advanced technology products.

As a Photonics Assembler, you will support the production of optical and sensor components used in high-tech applications. Key Responsibilities

- Assemble and inspect small, delicate optical, sensor, or electronic components according to detailed work instructions.
- Perform precision assembly under a microscope using hand tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
- Follow quality procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with production standards.
- Maintain productivity while working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
- Complete required documentation, production records, and basic data entry accurately.
- Support a team-focused production environment by maintaining organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $22 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform microscope-based precision assembly of small and delicate components.
- Follow detailed manufacturing work instructions and quality procedures.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment in a production setting.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and basic data entry.

- At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
- Experience working with small parts, precision tools, and detailed assembly tasks.
- Ability to use a microscope effectively for inspection or assembly work.
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to follow established procedures consistently.
- Semiconductor or wafer fabrication experience.
- Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
- Electronics assembly experience.
- Medical device assembly experience.
- Optical, photonics, or microelectronics manufacturing experience.
