About the Opportunity
We are seeking motivated and compassionate Pharmacy Outreach Specialists to join a growing healthcare team dedicated to improving medication adherence and patient health outcomes.
In this fully remote role, you will engage directly with patients through outbound and inbound calls, helping identify and overcome barriers that may prevent them from taking prescribed medications. This is a fast-paced, metrics-driven position that requires strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to patients regarding medication adherence
- Identify barriers such as cost, transportation, education gaps, forgetfulness, or medication access issues
- Educate and support patients in resolving adherence concerns
- Coordinate prescription refills and assist with care navigation efforts
- Build rapport with patients and encourage commitment to treatment plans
- Escalate clinically related concerns to licensed pharmacists when appropriate
- Follow established scripts, workflows, and compliance guidelines
- Accurately document all patient interactions in company systems
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, patient outreach, or call center environment
- Experience working in a high-volume, performance-driven setting
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with patients
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Must be available to work Eastern Time business hours
Important Attendance Requirement:
Because onboarding and training are highly structured, candidates must be able to commit to no planned time off during their first 90 days of employment, including vacations, scheduled appointments, school commitments, or other known scheduling conflicts.

Preferred
- Pharmacy experience
- Medication adherence or patient engagement experience
- Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Bilingual Spanish-English skills
