Job Summary
We are currently hiring Pharmaceutical Operators for a contract/temporary opportunity in Sabana Hoyos, PR. This role is ideal for candidates with pharmaceutical manufacturing experience who are ready to support regulated production operations in a quality-focused environment.
As a Pharmaceutical Operator, you will help execute key manufacturing processes while following Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pharmaceutical production equipment in accordance with established SOPs.
- Perform weighing, mixing, granulation, compression, and related manufacturing activities based on assigned tasks.
- Verify raw materials and components to ensure they meet required specifications before use.
- Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, utensils, and workspaces following hygiene and safety standards.
- Accurately document production activities in logs and systems to support traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to internal procedures and safety requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3 shifts.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Days Off: 2 days off per week.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related science field. Work experience is not necessary if Bachelor's degree is completed.
- If you only hold a high school diploma, you must have 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Knowledge of mixing, granulation, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience handling basic laboratory equipment.
- Basic knowledge of GMP regulations.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with production documentation, batch records, cleaning logs, and traceability requirements.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing production priorities.
