Job Summary
We are seeking Pharmaceutical Operators for a contract opportunity in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Sabana Hoyos, PR. This role is ideal for detail-oriented manufacturing professionals who are committed to quality, safety, documentation accuracy, and operational discipline.
As a Pharmaceutical Operator, you will support key production processes such as weighing, mixing, granulation, compression, and packaging while following GMP requirements, SOPs, and established safety procedures. This opportunity offers a structured production environment, teamwork-focused operations, and the chance to contribute to high-quality pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
The selected candidates will work within a regulated manufacturing setting where precision, compliance, and reliability are essential to daily success.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pharmaceutical production equipment in accordance with established SOPs and manufacturing practices.
- Perform weighing, mixing, granulation, compression, and/or packaging activities based on the assigned production process.
- Verify that raw materials, components, and supplies meet required specifications before use in production.
- Complete cleaning and sanitization of production areas, equipment, utensils, and related materials according to internal procedures.
- Record production data in logs and systems to ensure traceability, accuracy, and proper documentation.
- Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with internal safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $15 per hour.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3 shifts.
- Workweek: 40 hours per week.
- Days off: 2 days off.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Industrial Chemical Processes, Engineering Science, or equivalent.
- If you do not have a Bachelor's degree, you must have 5 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Knowledge of mixing, granulation, and packaging or conditioning processes.
- Basic knowledge of GMP/BPM and documentation compliance.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Availability to work rotating shifts.
- Strong attention to detail, responsibility, operational discipline, and commitment to safety and quality.
