Personal Lines Client Retention Account Manager
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 (depending on experience)
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: First 90 days fully in office, then hybrid with 2 work-from-home days per week
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Personal Lines Client Retention Account Manager to join our growing team in Rock Hill. This role is responsible for managing policy renewals, client retention, and ensuring personal lines clients receive exceptional service and the right coverage for their needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Life and Health Insurance License preferred (support available for the right candidate to obtain)
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing client needs and maintain professionalism in all interactions
Responsibilities:
Manage a book of existing personal lines insurance clients with a focus on retention
Monitor upcoming renewals and proactively review coverage with clients
Develop and implement strategies to reduce cancellations and increase loyalty
Conduct policy reviews to ensure adequate coverage and identify cross-sell opportunities
Handle client inquiries regarding policy changes, billing, claims, and coverage questions
Work with carriers to negotiate renewals, process endorsements, and resolve underwriting issues
Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system
Educate clients on insurance products and coverage options
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience
